This policy explains what shubhkamnaye.in (“Shubhkamnaye”, “we”) does and does not do with your information. By using this website you agree to this policy. We try to collect as little as possible.

1. Who we are

Shubhkamnaye is a free website for making festival photos and videos with your name and sending them on WhatsApp. For any question, write to [email protected].

2. What we do not collect

There are no accounts and no login. We never ask for your phone number, email, password or bank details.
We have no database that stores your personal information.

3. Your name, photos and videos

Photos and videos are made from the name you type inside your phone’s browser. The name, any family photo you add and the finished video are never uploaded to our servers.
The last name you typed is kept in your browser’s local storage so you do not have to type it again. It stays only on your phone, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser data.
The same name may be used in suggestions shown on your own screen, such as “Ramesh ji, you may also like”. This also happens only on your phone; the name is not sent anywhere.
Speaking your name: if you tap the microphone, your browser turns your voice into text. Some browsers (such as Chrome) send the audio to their own company’s service (such as Google) to do this. We never hear or keep your voice.

4. Information needed to run the website

This website runs on Cloudflare. As with any website, opening a page sends technical details such as your IP address, browser type and time to Cloudflare’s servers, which use them to keep the site fast and secure.
To understand how many people visit and which pages they like, we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not identify anyone; we only see totals.

The website is paid for by advertising, so it shows Google AdSense ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used.
Ads are always marked as ads and never appear in the middle of making a photo or video. Advertisers are responsible for the products and services in their ads.

6. Suggestions for our other apps

From time to time we show suggestions for our other apps or services on this website. These are simple links.
Tapping one takes you to the Google Play Store, the App Store or that app’s website, where its own privacy policy applies.
We do not share your name or any other information with those apps.

7. WhatsApp and other websites

When you tap “Send on WhatsApp”, the photo, video or message goes straight from your phone to WhatsApp, and WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies from then on. We are not connected with WhatsApp.
Links to other websites are covered by those websites’ own policies.

8. Children

The website is for families of all ages, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18, and we do not target advertising at children.

9. Security and how long information is kept

The whole website runs over a secure https connection.
We do not keep your personal information. Services such as Cloudflare and Google keep their technical records under their own policies.

10. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask about your information, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and raise a grievance. For any such request or complaint, write to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days.

If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new date.
